After a short stop in India to try gourmet butter chicken, discover our wonderful crispy chicken served with a delicious Asian-inspired sauce. Served with some rice to complete the plate, it’s a real treat!

ASIAN CHICKEN RECIPE
For 6 people
Ingredients:
For the sauce:
– 1 BOX of sesame oil
– 1 cm fresh ginger
– 1 clove of garlic
– 70 g of brown sugar
– 8 cl rice vinegar
– 12 cl soy sauce
– 2 Cassia sesame seeds
– 2 CASES hoisin sauce
– 1 tsp sriracha sauce
– 15 cl vegetable broth
– 20 g corn starch
For the chicken:
– 500 g of chicken cutlets
– 100 g of flour
– 2 eggs
– 100 g panko (or breadcrumbs)
– Oil for frying
To end up with:
– Rice
– 1 bunch of fresh onion
– Some bird’s eye chili
Preparation:
1. Fry the diced ginger and grated garlic in the sesame oil. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients, except for the cornstarch, then bring to a boil.
2. Add the cornstarch a little at a time, stirring with a whisk and let the sauce thicken.
3. Cut the chicken into cubes, roll it in the flour, in the beaten eggs and then in the panko breadcrumbs. Fry them in hot oil for 2-3 minutes.
4. Serve the Asian style chicken with rice, a slice of spring onion and some finely chopped bird’s eye chili.
